I recently read an interesting article about “night eating”.  I was surprised to learn it is considered an eating disorder.  Go here to read, on the Eating Disorders website.  They mention that not being hungry in the morning is a common symptom–well, that’s logical.  If I stuff myself all evening, hit the hay on a full stomach, I will need some time in the morning before I really work up an appetite. What makes me behave like that?

I really liked this website, and thought it was interesting and informative.  Let me know what you think about this subject.  Do you struggle keeping on track with your food in the evening?  I live alone, so food is sort of my buddy at night.  It’s comforting.  But too much of a good thing–well, you get the idea.

I end up feeling like this!

If night eating is a disorder, then I’m hosed. I work third shift. If I didn’t eat at night, when exactly am I supposed to eat?
